そろそろ，これを摘んで，手巻きずしor焼き肉パーティができそうです。
とりあえず，みんなには内緒で，こっそりと，味見してみました。
栄養たっぷり，とんかつ弁当に青しそのせです。なんか，ばっちり栄養がついて，よい論文がかけるような気になってきました＾＾
えんどうは，もう少し様子をみましょうかね。

We invited Prof.Mary from Saint Mary's College of California as the guest speaker of our seminar. Mary-sensei gave a lecture on "EMPOWERMENT OF OLDER PERSONS: THE ROLE OF THE PROFESSIONAL". Her lecture was not only interesting but also convincing.
Finally, Mary-sensei said.
"elders will make good decisions for themselves and learn to take better care of themselves when they feel valued and involved in the planning and implementation of housing, health and social services"
"as professionals we need to remember that each individual deserves respect and dignity, so that we create a care system that we will feel empowered by when we get older ourselves"
It was very impressive for me.
Mary-sensei listened to any questions from students and answered their questions politely.
Thank you very much for your informative presentation.

We invited Prof.Howard from University of Maryland as the guest speaker of our seminar. He currently serve on the Science Advisory Board of Health Canada and he is also a member of the Delaware (State) Health Facilities Authority. He gave a lecture on "International Trends in Long-Term Care Services Policy for the Elderly".

来る7月18日～20日，標記学会が幕張（千葉）にて開催されます。
当研究室からは，Lianさん（D1）が
”Parenting practice and child's emotional/behavioral problems”
というタイトルで口演発表を行う予定です。
というわけで，本日のゼミでは，そのリハーサルを行いました！
Lianさんは，7歳の子どもと保護者90組を対象として，子どもの心理，社会的な行動に影響を及ぼす要因について，Home EnvironmentとParent-child interaction との関連から検討しました。Home EnvironmentについてはEESという質問票を用い，Parent-child interaction は，子どもと保護者の関わり場面を撮影したVTRを丁寧に観察し，Interaction Rating Scale (IRS)という指標を用いてコーディングしています。
Lianさんは，本日のゼミで，共同研究者となっているメンバーからのたくさんのコメントを受け，結果をよりよく発信するべくスライドの再検討など行っているところです。学会当日がとても楽しみです。
